Command 2.1:

Command 2.1 delivers feature enhancements to Inventory Viewer and adds “as-live” playout timing and clip and playlist looping.

  • Timed-delay,  as-live playout utilizing  “MARK-IN” but without “MARK-OUT”
  • Looping (single clip or play list)
  • Secondary graphic events (TAG) support, in compliance with MOS Protocol 2.8

Version 2.0

Version 2.0 provided expanded flexibility with industry standard VDCP support and Avid AirSpeed Multi Stream video server control.

  • AirSpeed Multi Stream Device Service: Control for the AirSpeed Multi Stream
  • AVID Video Device Service: Control of third party servers through  VDCP protocol
  • VDCP SDK: API/SDK based on VDCP protocol allowing vendors to build plug-ins that enhance device control over generic VDCP

    Version 1.1

    Version 1.1 added features and enhancements for viewing and managing inventory on other Avid systems.

  • Shot Box: Similar to feature in CountDown
  • Tally Reflection/Tally Restriction:
      • Tally Reflection – designates channel on-air based on tally
      • Tally Restriction - protects a channel currently on-air
  • Thumbnails for Avid AirSpeed w/ Interplay, Deko, and Thunder
  • Inventory “Protect” and inventory  “Delete” in AirSpeed

Version 1.0

Version 1.0 was the initial release of Command, featuring interoperability with newsroom computer systems, playback control of Avid systems, and full redundancy.

  • iNEWS, MOS (ENPS), and standalone playlists
  • Playback-assist: Controls Avid AirSpeed, Deko,Thunder
  • Fully redundant/failover  solution
